Traynham is a veteran CPA with areas of concentration including corporate and individual tax, trusts, and estate and retirement planning. Her practice covers many service-based businesses, notably venture capital, real estate and healthcare providers. Traynham joined HPG in 1993, and was named partner in 1999. Identifying a need in the community, she also spearheaded adding two unique client offerings in 2008: family office services and divorce planning/litigation support. Actively involved in non-profit and professional associations, Traynham is currently a board member at IntraHealth International, serving on finance and governance committees. Traynham also serves as treasurer and board member of the N.C. Triangle Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. As a founding member of Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women, she is the recipient of the Best Professional Service Champion Award. In 2008, she received the Triangle Business Journal's Top 25 Women in Business Award.

Prior to joining HPG, Traynham spent several years in leadership positions at McGladrey & Pullen and Hardee's Food Systems, Inc.
