Michael has over eleven years of experience specializing in transfer pricing.  He joined Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in July of 2018.  He was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Raleigh.

Michael leads the Firm’s transfer pricing practice. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries including biomedical and pharmaceutical, software and technology, manufacturing and distribution, retail, specialty chemicals, automotive, railroad, and private equity funds.  Michael advises companies on matters related to determining, evaluating, and documenting intercompany pricing arrangements for tangible and intangible property, services, and financial transactions. His experiences include transfer pricing policy design for multistate and multinational purposes, global documentation studies, profit sharing and royalty analyses, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and audit defense in the U.S. and abroad.
