Dear Clients and Friends,
The health and wellbeing of our team and clients is paramount to HPG and we want you to know that we are taking proactive steps to continue to serve you in a safe environment. In light of the recent Declaration of a State of Emergency in North Carolina and growing concerns about the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know how we are responding.
As a proactive measure to restrict the spread of COVID-19, we have enacted a remote working policy across our Firm, effective March 16, until further notice. Our office will remain open with the necessary staff to support our business operations. However, we encourage clients to submit documents electronically.
We are committed to providing excellent service to our clients and we do not anticipate any disruption in meeting our clients’ needs. We have the tools and technologies needed to work effectively remotely and we will continue to seamlessly support you during this time. We encourage you to send in any outstanding items needed as quickly as possible so that your team at HPG can work to meet your deadlines.
Currently, the Trump Administration and Congressional leaders are negotiating fiscal-stimulus measures to provide relief for the coronavirus pandemic, which might include loosening rules for the April 15th tax deadline. We are monitoring this situation closely and will communicate any updates or changes as they come.
We would be happy to provide you with information regarding our electronic document sharing platform as well as our video conference and conference call platforms in the event that you would like to meet with our team virtually.
As always, we are happy to answer any questions that arise. We look forward to continuing to serve you this tax season.
