Heather Drake Admitted as Tax Partner

RALEIGH, NC (March 31st, 2008) – Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (HPG), the largest locally owned and managed certified public accounting firm in the Triangle, today announced that Heather L. Drake has been admitted as an HPG Partner concentrating in corporate tax.

As a partner at HPG, Heather will focus on corporate tax and business planning and consulting clients in a variety of industries including biomedical and pharmaceutical, software and technology development, manufacturing, and venture funds. Her experience in these industries involves corporate and partnership tax compliance, including international and multi-state tax, and tax provisions under FAS 109 including FIN 48 implementation. She also is a member of the Council for Economic Development Venture Conference selection committee, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network, and was a 2007 graduate from Leadership Raleigh, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s leadership development program.
