HPG Boosts Client Accounting Services Practice with Fractional CFO Hire

RALEIGH, N.C. (October 11, 2018) ― Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (“HPG”), a Triangle-based CPA firm serving the financial management needs of local, multistate, and international businesses, as well as their owners, announces the addition of Jim Klein as a Contract Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) on the Client Accounting Services (“CAS”) team.

“We are thrilled to have Jim join HPG’s CAS team,” says Mark Livingston, HPG Partner and Executive Committee Member.  “Combining his years of CFO experience with the Firm’s depth of knowledge and talent, we greatly enhance our ability to provide turnkey outsourced accounting services to our clients.

Jim has over 30 years of experience as a senior level financial executive.  He started his career at Price Waterhouse as an auditor, and then moved to the private sector where he spent the balance of his career, holding positions of increasing responsibility including serving as CFO of several companies in the life science sector. Jim was previously serving as a fractional CFO to companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, software, engineering, and high-tech industries.

HPG’s CAS practice provides flexible and scalable accounting support, eliminating exposure for employer liabilities related to these functions while allowing business owners to focus their efforts on growing their business.
