RALEIGH, N.C. (September 10, 2010) Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), the largest CPA firm headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, announces today that firm member Lance Hardin, CPA is part of the 26th Leadership Raleigh class presented by the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Hardin has 15 years of accounting experience and is a senior tax manager for HPG. He has been with the firm since 2008.
Leadership Raleigh is a nine-month program that prepares candidates to expand their leadership roles and engage in sustained community involvement. Throughout the program, Hardin will work as part of a project team. The team will assist a community nonprofit that has requested help on a specific need.
“I am eager to participate in the Leadership Raleigh program,” says Hardin. “It is an excellent opportunity to advance my skills, while working alongside some of the areas emerging leaders.”
Hardin is the sixth HPG member to participate in the leadership program, joining graduates Heather Dean, Tim Naylor, Brooks Malone, Liz Broadway and Larry Hamilton. He is part of one of the largest classes in Leadership Raleigh’s history. This year’s class has 52 participants that represent a diverse array of professions.
