(March 22, 2010) Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), the largest CPA firm headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, announces today that firm members Brooks Malone and Shannon Cook will be serving on a discussion panel titled “Accounting Services for the Middle Market Clients.” The event takes place on March 24, 2010 and is part of the 28th annual Business Week event hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business.
Malone, a partner at HPG, will be discussing specific accounting services middle market companies require. Cook is HPG’s human resources director and will give an overview of what skills students should be developing for a career working with a middle market company.

The weeklong event is designed to help Cameron School of Business students as they prepare for the transition into a professional environment. With more than 100 sessions, the program will feature prominent alumni and executives explaining their knowledge and experiences in numerous areas including marketing, information technology and entrepreneurship.
