HPG Partner Named Impact Financial Leader

RALEIGH, N.C. (November 12, 2009) Kent Pittman, partner and executive committee member at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP, the largest CPA firm headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, has been named a 2009 N.C. Financial Impact Leader by Business Leader magazine.

Pittman is one of 37 Triangle professionals recognized for their continued excellence in leadership and building client relationships, as well as a commitment to community involvement. Winners are featured in the fall 2009 issue of Business Leader.

Pittman has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. At HPG, he focuses on providing management support and tax planning services to owner-managed businesses. Pittman leads the firm’s real estate industry services team and assists clients with real estate endeavors of all types and sizes.

In addition, Pittman actively serves in the community. He is the treasurer of Big Brother and Big Sisters of the Triangle and is a member of the Occoneechee Council Boy Scouts of America Foundation Committee, the Raleigh Kiwanis Club board of directors, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Roundtable, the National Eagle Scout Association and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
