Naylor, a member of the Chamber’s board of advisors and a graduate of Leadership Raleigh, discussed HPG’s recent Green Plus certification by the Institute for Sustainable Development (www.gogreenplus.org). The program was based on best practices in the areas of triple bottom line sustainability: people, planet and performance.
“I enjoyed discussing the Green Plus program with Chamber colleagues and hope that their companies take steps toward this certification,” said Naylor.
HPG was the first accounting firm to earn this recognition. To earn certification, the firm underwent an eight month review of organizational policies and procedures, received diagnostic reports on its sustainability performance, strengths, weaknesses and areas of opportunity, as well as developed an action plan to implement new practices.
Naylor is partner for HPG’s CleanTech and Construction practice areas and Sarbanes-Oxley team lead. Working with clients in a variety of industries, he has more than 17 years of public accounting experience. Naylor has been with HPG since 2003 and was named firm partner in 2009.
