Raleigh, NC (April 12, 2011) – Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), one of the largest CPA firms headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, is serving as a sponsor of the 2011 East Coast Game Conference (www.ecgconf.com). The third annual event, formerly the Triangle Game Conference, is being held April 13-14 at the Raleigh Convention Center.
This is the second year HPG has supported the conference, building on a rich history of working with video gaming companies through its knowledge-based industries practice. “We are proud to continue supporting this event and the gaming industry as it grows in the Triangle area and beyond,” says Dean.
More than 40 gaming companies and 1,000 guests are expected at the 2011 ECGC. Highlights of the conference include lectures, panels and discussions on: The Business of Games, Programming, Advanced Learning, Visual Arts, Game Design, Social and Mobile, and Game Fundamentals. Additionally, there will be a Career Lounge and Critique Sessions, providing a hands-on experience for individuals to meet industry professionals and hear how they have navigated through the shifting landscape of the gaming industry.
HPG has a long-standing commitment to the advancement of technology industries in the Triangle. In addition to its support of the ECGC, the firm has supported the CED, the North Carolina World Trade Association, the Small Business and Technology Development Center and the Triangle Game Initiative.
