RTP CFO Forum to Discuss Government Grants and Contracts

Raleigh, NC  (April 26, 2011) – Lea Strickland, president and CEO of F.O.C.U.S. Resources Inc.(, will be the featured speaker at the RTP CFO Forum ( on Friday, May 6, 2011. The organization serves as a peer-to-peer networking and discussion opportunity for more than 200 senior financial executives in the Triangle area. Strickland will focus her discussion on best practices and tools to manage government grants and contracts.

Strickland has more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership in Fortune 500 and Global 100 companies. A noted author, she has written four books including “Out of the Cubicle and Into Business” and “One Great Idea!” as well as more than 600 articles and op-ed pieces related to starting and growing a business.

“Government grants can be a significant source of funding for research, and the government can be an important client for technology, products and services.
