Single Audit and Program Specific Audits

Our Single Audit practice consists of a dedicated team, who understand the complex standards and regulations of government grants and contracts. Our focus on for-profit companies receiving federal and state funding will provide your company practical and hands-on guidance to help you meet the fiduciary and compliance reporting requirements.  This includes compliance with Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants. We also add value by assisting companies with the requirements contained in federal government contracts.

HPG's team can assist by:

  • Assessing minimum accounting system requirements
  • Assessing and reporting on internal controls
  • Providing "best practice" tools such as our proprietary internal control documentation tool and practical guidance for grant specific compliance requirements
  • Performing single audit and program specific audits under the Uniform Guidance

Our firm is a member of the Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).   The Center is a voluntary membership Center for CPA firms that perform audit and attestation engagements under Government Auditing Standards and the Uniform Guidance. As a member of the GAQC, we are committed to performing the highest quality not-for-profit audits. We demonstrate our commitment by voluntarily agreeing to adhere to the GAQC's significant membership requirements. A copy of our peer review letter is available upon request.
